CB450t Bobber Build

This here is my first build.

Got the donor CB450t from my buddy Dave.

So far we've stripped her down pretty good.

This what she looked like when I got her.

grinding down some welds to remove the back.

this is what she looks like now.

So far we've removed the air box, factory turn signals, wiring harness, carbs, center stand, rear end and the chain.

Next on the list: build a work bench to rebuild, pull the motor and send the frame to Dave's buddy Stretch so he can weld on some new tabs for the 10" shocks.

rear end with old shocks pre- new tabs.

Picked up an old CM400 tank on ebay for under $40 bucks. Should be here by next week.

CM400. Inspiration for my bike.

  1. Where did you get those 10" shocks? I'm working on a '79 CM400 project, and the shortest shocks I can find is 11.4".
